Welcome to the January edition of the Media newsletter. Firstly, we'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year. With the 15 January application deadline now passed, 2011 will undoubtedly bring changes and challenges in the education sector; however we are positive for the year ahead.
There are certainly many changes happening within UCAS at the moment. One of these is that the UCAS Media green is going and the Commercial department will sit within the UCAS operational red branding. However UCAS Media Ltd will continue to exist on paper as our trading company. So the next newsletter will have a very different look. As mentioned in the last edition, there have been some big changes to the education team and we are delighted to announce that:
To support your marketing function in the coming year we have made some exciting changes to the education team. In 2010 we reviewed the service that we offer, in consultation with a group of HEI's and media buying agencies, and as a result, we have increased the size of our team and now have dedicated account managers. This will mean that your university or college will have one, single point of contact able to deal with all marketing queries.
This more personalised service, split by region, means that by having a dedicated member of the team that understands the business needs of your HEI, we offer:

The team will continue to be headed up by Debbie Scott who has a wealth of experience in education marketing and has been with UCAS for nine years.
The account managers will be in touch on an individual basis shortly; however, if you have any queries please do not hesitate to call, or email your account manager.
In February we will be joined by Adam Mitchell heading up an Agency Sales Team with Agency Rep Matt Criddle. Adam Mitchell (currently Head of Recruitment at News International) will be joining us to help finesse our agency offering and ensure that you and your teams have a strong service from us. They will be in touch in due course with further details.
