Application Tracker 2010

Sensible financial planning, understanding how you compare with competitors, and knowing who is attracted to your institution are just a few of the areas where familiarity with your application trends is vital; but getting to grips with the data can be a time-consuming process. This is where Application Tracker can help. An online service, with three levels of access available only from UCAS, Application Tracker helps you to analyse data in the depth you need, at the time you need it.

Benefits of Application Tracker:

  • Early access to key data means you can take a proactive approach to recruitment issues
  • Market share analysis at subject line level provides your institution with a clearer understanding of its position against national and competitor trends
  • Tools enabling you to group data according to faculties and departments gives you a cleared idea of differing trends within your institution
  • Applicant profiling can help you understand your market
  • Entry profile and domicile based data can be used to improve your financial and resource planning.

The service was launched on 30 September, if you would like to find out more or request a free trial please contact Suzanne Campbell on 01242 544746 or at s.campbell@ucas.ac.uk

UCAS Publications 2011

We are fast approaching the first booking deadline for the UCAS publications for 2011 entry. The first publication is our Open Days publication, this booklet contains a list of all HEI Open Days for the 2010 calendar year, you are able to enhance your listing with a full colour advert (either half or full page). The booking deadline for this publication is 3rd November 09.

We also have two more booking deadlines before Christmas (Parent Guide 3/12/09 and Little Guide 16/12/09). The UCAS Parent Guide is one of the few ways of getting your brand in front of the parents of prospective students, it is available in the English version or the Welsh/English version, the Little Guide is a small funky booklet designed to be kept in the students school bag throughout the whole application process. The advertising in our Little Guide is limited due to the size of the guide so early booking is advisable.

The full list of UCAS publications along with their cost, print run, artwork and deadlines etc is available to download, please click here for a copy. If you would like to know more or would like to see samples of any of our publications please contact Caryn Wright on 01242 544938 or at c.wright@ucas.ac.uk
