Conference Programme
The 2007/8 programme comprises the following events aimed at advisers and those
involved in university admissions.
GETTING INTO HE
Highly interactive one-day seminars aimed at over 150 teachers, careers advisers
and those involved in helping students who are applying to higher education. These
events focus on providing information for the adviser on UCAS systems and procedures,
the application process and the wider issues relating to higher education admissions.
EU MARKETING AND RECRUITMENT
A two-day event, aimed at those involved in international recruitment and admissions,
including international marketing and admissions officers and senior managers within
higher education institutions. The event provides a mixture of keynote sessions,
workshops and panel discussions on the issues relating to the recruitment of students
from overseas and the retention of skilled graduates within the UK.

PROGRESSION TO HEALTHCARE
Conference providing expert advice and discussions for those advising students on
entry to higher education within healthcare.

ADMISSIONS CONFERENCE
A three-day annual residential event for all those involved in recruitment, admissions
and marketing within higher education, attracting an audience of over 300 delegates.

PROGRESSION TO EMPLOYMENT
This event focuses on recruitment following higher education, and attracts an audience
of key graduate employers and HR professionals.
HE... AND THEN WHAT?
Intended for those advising students on progression into, through and beyond higher
education within a range of subjects including law, science and engineering, and
business and finance. This event explores the admissions process, the university
experience and graduate employment.
